Vocabulary

rig (n): a large structure that is used for removing oil or gas from the ground or the bottom of the sea:
E.g.: an oil rig

rag (n): 1-a torn (撕裂-past tense) piece of old cloth:
E.g.: I keep these rags for cleaning the car.
E.g.: I use these rags for cleaning.
E.g.: They were dressed in rags (= in old, torn pieces of clothing).

foe (n): 1-an enemy:
E.g.: The two countries have united against their common foe.
E.g.:They were bitter foes for many years.

career (N): 1-the job or series of jobs that you do during your working life, especially if you continue to get better jobs and earn more money:
E.g.: He’s hoping for a career in the police force/as a police officer.
E.g.: Many women sacrifice (牺牲(v)) interesting careers for their family.

human resources-人力资源

insurance (n): 保险1– an agreement in which you pay a company money and they pay your costs if you have an accident, injury, etc.:
E.g.:life/car/travel/household, etc. insurance-人寿、汽车、旅行平安、家庭财产等保险

medical insurance-医疗保险

tax (n): 1-税, money that you have to pay to the government so that it can pay for public services.
E.g.: They’re increasing the tax on cars.

raw materials (n)原材料, any material, such as oil, cotton, or sugar in its natural condition, before it has been processed for use:
E.g.: The cost of raw materials was going up.

agriculture-farming:
E.g.: Agriculture is still largely based on traditional methods in some countries.
E.g.: The area depends on agriculture for most of its income.

industry (n): 1- the companies and activities involved in the process of producing goods for sale, especially in a factory or special area:
E.g.: The city needs to attract more industry.

fraction (n): 1- very small part or amount of something:
E.g.: Only a fraction of students graduates from a university.
E.g.: On 11.11. I bought a new jacket at a fraction of its original price
