date (v): 1-to regularly spend time with someone you have a romantic relationship with:
E.g.: They dated for five years before they got married.
E.g.: How long have you been dating Nicky?

manipulator (n): 操纵者；控制者 a person who is skillful at influencing people or situations in order to get what they want
E.g.: My daughter is a little manipulator, she always tries to get what she wants.

My daughter is good at manipulating (V) her grandparents.
