Vocabulary

wear off (v): 1-If a feeling or the effect of something wears off, it gradually disappears:
E.g.: Most patients find that the numbness from the injection wears off after about an hour.

exile (n)-放逐, the condition of someone being sent or kept away from their own country, village, etc., especially for political reasons:
E.g.: The king went into exile because of the political situation in his country.

stance (n): 1- a way of thinking about something, especially expressed in a publicly stated opinion:
E.g.: The UN called on all parties in the conflict to take a positive stance towards the new peace initiative.

party (n):one of the people or groups of people involved in an official argument, arrangement, or similar situation:
E.g.: The contract could be terminated by either party at any time.
