Defendant/plaintiff
• A Plaintiff is the person who initiates a legal action against another person. • A Defendant is the person who is being sued by the Plaintiff. • A Defendant in a criminal case is also known as the accused.

plaintiff (n)-a person or company that makes a legal complaint about someone else in a court of law:
E.g.: The plaintiff claimed damages for the financial losses suffered through breach of copyright.

defendant (n): 1-a person in a law case who is accused of having done something illegal-BUT DIDN”T COMMIT A CRIME./if the crime is committed defendant becomes an ACCUSED
E.g.: The prosecutor must prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant is guilty.

prosecutor (n): a legal official who accuses someone of committing a crime, especially in a law court
E.g.: The tape recordings provided prosecutors with the evidence they needed to prove he’d been involved in the conspiracy.
E.g.: a public/state prosecutor

I don’t recall- Saying “I don’t know” usually means you never knew the answer to the question.By saying “I don’t recall,” it can be understood that you once knew the answer but now cannot remember it due to the passage of time or for some other reason.
