colonize (v): 1-to send people to live in and govern another country:
E.g.: Peru was colonized by the Spanish in the 16th century.

resume (v): 1-If an activity resumes, or if you resume it, it starts again after a pause:
E.g.: Normal services will be resumed in the spring.
E.g.: He stopped to take a sip of water and then resumed speaking.
E.g.: The talks are due to resume today.
2-If you resume a place or position that you have left for a period of time, you return to it:
E.g.: to resume your post/job
E.g.: Please resume your seats, as the performance will continue in two minutes.

due (adj): 1- expected to happen, arrive, etc. at a particular time:
E.g.: What time is the next bus due?
E.g.: The next meeting is due to be held in three months’ time.
E.g.: Their first baby is due in January.

rural (adj): in, of, or like the countryside:
E.g.: The area is still very rural and undeveloped.

Urban (adj): of or in a city or town:
E.g.: urban development
E.g.: Pollution has reached high levels in some urban areas.

resident (n): 1-a person who lives or has their home in a place:
E.g.: a resident of the UK/Australia
E.g.: The local residents were angry at the lack of parking spaces.
