E.g.: Although he was raised a Catholic, he was an agnostic for most of his adult life.

atheist (n): 1-someone who believes that God does not exist

blurred/blurry (adj): 1- difficult to see:
E.g.: The photograph was very blurred.
E.g.: The picture on the TV went all blurry.

out the window-Forgotten or disregarded; lost or wasted.
E.g.: Once the government deregulated the industry, expensive safety precautions were the first thing out the window.
