Use some of the vocabulary from today in some writing. Choose a topic that lets you use the words we learned.

Vocabulary

ICU-abbreviation for intensive care unit: the part of a hospital the provides continuous treatment for patients who are seriously ill, very badly injured, or who have just had an operation

 shine (n): a special place in which you remember and praise someone who has died, especially someone famous

mourn (v): to feel or express great sadness, especially because of someone’s death

E.g.: She was still mourning for her brother.

glimpse (v):to see something or someone for a very short time or only partly

agony (n): extreme physical or mental pain or suffering

E.g.: She lay there screaming in agony.

agonize over/about sth
If you agonize over/about something, you spend time worrying and trying to make a decision about it.

numb (Adj): If a part of your body is numb, you are unable to feel it, usually for a short time.

E.g.: I was lying in a weird position and my leg went numb.
