Vocabulary

Casualty – Someone who dies in war
eg. During WWII countries all over Europe has serious casualties.

Tend – to be likely to do something
eg. I tend to fall asleep after I drink wine.

Manipulate – to control (sometimes has a negative connotation)

To sweep under the rug – to ignore or get rid of a bad situation
eg. America’s failure in vietnam was swept under the rug.

Whitewashing – to make bad things in the past sound good
eg. Japan has whitewashed its occupation of China during WWII, many people even today are not aware of the horrible things they did.

China-Vietnam War was one of the biggest war after found a state. Each side had a large amount of deaths. Actually I wasn’t understand this reason of war. I just heard the information from my Dad’s video, library, and school. 
When I want to find a whole process and story on internet, friends recommended me to searching in Google, because Baidu had shield some negative things whcih was not well for government. But the result was probably same. Just had different reason of the start war 
Some link in Baidu said Chinese government wanted to protect most of ethnic Chinese who were facing unfair situation in Vietnam. then they started this war.
Some articles in Google, The reason is Vietnam attacked a temporary government named Hongmian(Chinese pronunciation) in Cambodia that was supposed by Chinese Government. they also said the Vietnam had much better relationship with the Soviet union Than China，meanwhile they also have some competition with each other (C&S).
I don’t want talk about whose explanation was truth or fake. Because that just depends on different political standpoint. The fact was the populations of each side have a huge damage. The politicians just said that you have honor or responsibility to protect your resource and countries. All of politicians both are best actors.
I can make some examples to show my opinion, When German attacked to the Poland, Japan attacked to the China, even including Spain attacked some countries in South America in the middle of 16th century. In that wars politicians just use some suitable reason to stared war. 
So I believe every war or conflict that have a key reason which is benefit. I also believe someone or countries like peace and don’t conflict with each other.
So we need keeo peace by ourselves

The Sino-Vietnamese War was one of the biggest wars after the founding of the People’s Republic of China.  Both sides experienced heavy casualties. Before researching, I didn’t understand the reason for this war. I just heard the information from school, the library, and my Dad’s videos.

When I wanted to find the whole story of the war, friends recommended that I use Google instead of Baidu, because Baidu tends to manipulate search results to fit their narrative (Or manipulate search results to exclude anything which makes the government look bad. ). However, I searched on both, and found most of the results were the same; the only difference was the cause behind the war. Some links on Baidu said the Chinese government wanted to protect most of ethnic Chinese who were facing an unfair situation in Vietnam. [protect the ethnic Chinese who were being persecuted in vietnam] This was the justification they used to start the war.
Some articles on Google said that the reason was that Vietnam attacked Hongmian (Chinese pronunciation), a temporary government in Cambodia that was supported by the Chinese Government. They also said that Vietnam had a much better relationship with the Soviet Union than with China, and at the time, China and the Soviets were rivals.

I don’t want talk about whose explanation is truth or false, because that just depends on different political standpoints. The fact remains that populations on both sides suffered huge damage. The politicians just said that you have honor and responsibility to protect your country and it’s resources.  All politicians are great actors.

Politicians just use any suitable reason to start war.

I can give some examples to show my opinion, When German attacked Poland, Japan attacked China, and even when Spain attacked some countries in South America in the middle of 16th century.

So I believe every war or conflict has a key reason, which is benefit. I also believe some people and some countries like peace and avoid conflict with each other.
So we need keep the peace by ourselves.
