I just watch once time so I can’t understand what the director want to show us and I can’t feel Puyi’s heart. I think this film I need to review it again. I need to watch the film in one sitting. The second one is 2 hours 40 mins long. I speed up the movie to watch it.

When the time pointer across, the power of the small human is unable to control.

From the moment Puyi entered the Forbidden City, he began his life of being used, deceived, controlled and imprisoned. Puyi as emperor he didn‘t have the right to open the door，and he also can’t choose his own marriage. The only thing he just had was the title of emperor. And that title became an important reason for his tragic life. Puyi’s life has been pushed along, like a road only for him. He can‘t keep up with the track of the train called “history”.
