She told me there were many people laid off at her company due to the bad economic situation this year. She works in the customer logistics team. She said, “don’t worry about it, take it easy”.

We will change a new boss. It is suppose to change a new boss. He has been working for this company for ten years. We don’t know when he will become our new boss. We often work with him. Everybody is worried about it.

I attend the interview with my line manager – she’s name is Cherry. So Cherry was very angry with the decision. She thought she did everything for the new CEO because she was the assistant, but also responsible to leaders. I think other people make this decision. I think CEO had the rights to make the decision if she can be the boss.

We will have a new boss. It is now time to change a new boss. He has been working for/in this company for ten years. We don’t know when he will become our new boss/take on the new role. We often work with him. Everybody is worried about it.

I attended the interview with my line manager – her name is Cherry. So Cherry was very angry/disappointed with the decision. She thought she did everything for the new CEO because she is her assistant, but she is also in charge of other team leaders. I think other people/the higher-ups made this decision. I think the CEO had the rights to make the decision/had the final say to whether she can get the promotion.
