Speaking exercise

For my job, I need to start at 10 AM and usually, we get off the work at 7 pm but I need to have some overtime job until 9 pm or 10 pm. But, if I need to have Zoom meeting with foreign headquarter then I need to overtime until 12 pm.

Usually we can have the meeting with the China base, but right now everybody think online meeting is okay so why not. Why don’t invite us to join your meeting?

It’s the first time I work with Germany. I think it’s quite different from the French or the Italians. For the French base people or the Italian base people, they always say “Just do it and then we will check it”. But, when I work with the Germany, they say “you need to do one step forth and one step back…”

So it’s a little bit confuse for me. So when I back home I need to see some TV series for work, the hot topic for now.

I have a plan to BJ next week, but it’s cancelled just because the celebrity don’t have time.

Revised:

For my job, I need to start at 10 AM and usually, we get off the work at 7 pm but I need to work overtime until 9 pm or 10 pm. But, if I need to have a Zoom meeting with foreign clients then I need to work overtime until 12 pm.

Usually we can have the/arrange the meeting with the China office/Chinese clients, but right now everybody thinks that online meetings are okay. So my foreign clients would ask, “Why don’t you invite us to join your meeting?”

It’s the first time I’ve worked with Germans. I think it’s quite different from working with the French or the Italians. For the people in the French office or the Italians, they always say “Just do it and then we will check it”. But, when I work with the Germans, they say “you need to do one step at a time…”

So it’s a little bit confusing for me/I feel puzzled. So when I go back home I need to watch some TV series for work because I need to keep up to date with the latest hot topic/trends.

Originally, I planned to go to BJ next week, but it’s cancelled just because the celebrity doesn’t have time.
