Grammar

used to = what you do before 曾经
ex: I used to live in Canada for many years but now I work in SH.
ex: I used to study English for more than 10 years but now I’m going to learn English from the beginning.

(to be) used to (verb+ing)= 习惯
ex: I am used to drinking a cup of coffee every morning because I usually feel dead in the morning.
ex: I was used to exercising every night but now I’m lazy.

Vocabulary

1.curriculum= 教材
Ex: we don’t have a curriculum in SE, we give classes according to the student’s level.

2. got a hair cut= 剪头发了
ex: did you get a haircut? 你剪头发了吗
ex: I got a haircut a week ago.

3. I cut my hair= 我剪了自己的头发
ex: did you cut your hair? 你自己剪了自己的头发吗？
ex: hahahah no I got a haircut at a salon but it’s a bad haircut.

4. sesame= 芝麻
ex: my mom said if you eat sesame, your hair will be darker.

5. dink= double income no kids
ex: I really support the idea of dink, I think it’s wonderful.

6. groom= 刷洗 梳毛
ex: how often do you groom your Bichon? Once a week
ex: I used to groom my Bichon at home because it’s too expensive to do it outside.

I just cut down my hair one week ago, before that, I have curly long hair. I just want the curly part, but the hair stylist cut too much, so I became short hair. I am a little angry after cutting, but I just think I didn’t communicate too much before. The hair stylist do the cur job, so maybe one year later, if I still need to cut my long hair, I need to communicate more before we cut it. I just think it’s like an auntie. I think I look better when my hair is longer. I found a way to let my hair grow very fast, you need to put the oil everyday.
