Why is bribing so common in China? Why is it even a culture?

1.bribe (verb)= 贿赂
bribery (noun)= 贿赂
ex: Some parents will bribe the teachers in elementary school/ high school.

2. for good= for a long time/ staying
ex: Lily, are you going to be in SH for good?
ex: Is he coming back for good?

3. down jacket= 羽绒服
ex:  My little girl is already wearing her down jacket.

4. luxury ＝ 奢侈品
luxurious (adj)= 奢侈的
ex: I buy luxury brands for bags but not clothes.
ex: it’s luxurious to have a 5000 yuan meal.

I don’t really care about the brand of clothing because what I buy is good quality. Famous brands are usually too expensive for me so I will rarely buy them. Adidas is the brand which I like the best. I like wearing Adidas shoes and clothing because it is comfortable and of good quality. I also like wearing Adidas sweaters due to its fashion design. This brand isn’t too expensive to afford for young person like me. What’s more, I think the advertisements for Adidas on TV are attractive. So I think Adidas is my favorite brand.
