I think once a child starts walking and talking, they start thinking and imagining. Because their personalities can be very different, their ideas will be different too. Children will begin to form their own ideas when they absorb enough knowledge, which normally starts to happen during the first year of elementary school. During this period, they read some books that help them construct their basic knowledge, and are able to think independently based on what they know. It’s really important to encourage children have their own new ideas. If there’re no new ideas, it would not be possible for human to make progress. We need new ideas of innovation. New ideas can help them to develop their creativity.
