My boss require me to apply the best employer this year, so I searched a lot of vendor who can provide this award, and I found most of the vendor appraise the award base on the corporation with them, especially based on the money we pay for them every year. My boss don’t want to pay any money for this award, so I have to search some international vendor, maybe my boss thinks they are fair. Finally we choose Heweet, which is a very famous global consulting company, then the application work become very complicated. We need to do the employee survey. If our score can reach the 75 score mark, we have the opportunity to enter the second period. In the second period, we need to provide a lot of material to certify the HR achievement on learning people development, and other C&B. Also Heweet need to arrange a interview for our management team member to collect some information which they need. So base on the above result, they will decided which company can get the award of best employer.  Although it’s no number limitation for the award, but they usually control the quality of awardee.

t’s a badly kept secret that China, both historically and in modern times, has a thing for authoritative leadership. It doesn’t stop at political leadership, either, as hierarchy can be seen and felt throughout every layer of Chinese society.

Chinese management is influenced heavily by Confucian values and often viewed, rather sexistly, as “fatherly” leadership. To be a good leader is to be a good å›åÂ (jÅ«n zÄ), a gentleman, a person of inspiration.

Small family businesses are a prime example of modern-day authoritarian leadership in which the head of the household assumes full control over a company’s day-to-day activities. All decisions are made by the person at the top, the 家长 (jiÄzhăng).

Such one-sided leadership can result in nepotism, as the boss of a family businesses tends to fill positions of responsibility with relatives or very close friends. Important departments, such as finance and marketing, will likely be occupied by the boss’s siblings or cousins.
