Speaking exercise

Every year, every employee will be evaluated their performance, if your performance is average, you will get score 10, if above average, you will get score 15. To jump up one level, then you need 30 scores. If you do average work for three years, it means you will get promoted in three years. If you do very good job and get 30 scores in two years, then you can get promoted in two years. I had higher score than others. In the case of my Chinese colleague, she got average score for few years, she was supposed to be promoted this year because she has enough scores. but she got notice from HR that she changed the promotion rules. It’s really unfair because she talked with other colleagues, some of them didn’t have the team for the past few years, but they got promoted because of their manager’s support.
