Vocabulary

1. Karma= 因果轮回 报应
ex: do you believe in Karma?
ex: if you believe in karma, then you should do good things in life.

2. same old same old= 老样子
ex: How’s work? same old same old.

3. mistress= 小三 情妇
ex: it’s a common thing for rich men to find a mistress.
ex: DWD is the most successful mistress ever.

4. stock right= 股权
ex: She wanted her boyfriend to transfer the stock rights to her.

5. operate= 运行
ex: the school can no longer operate without the cashflow.

6. transfer the assets= 资产转移
ex: When I told my ex husband that I wanted a divorce, he transferred his assets immediately.

7. fraud= 骗局
conspiracy= 阴谋
ex: Shanghainese men need to hand over their salary to their wife, it’s a huge conspiracy.
ex: Ponzi scheme is the biggest fraud in the world.

ex: they need enough evidence to issue a warrant.
ex: a search warrant is required if the police wants to enter your house.

KXD is a school which my daughter learned English, they closed the door last Friday. We have paid the cost for full year, but we have only had 6 class. So far it’s very difficult to take the money back. In Shanghai, they have more than 20 schools, located in each district. More than 2000 students has been involved in this sudden issue. Last week, we have set up a WeChat group to discuss what should we do to take back our money. Firstly, we go to the police station, the policeman required us to provide a lot of documents to certify that we have paid money to this company. We need to go to the bank to print the transaction, so we spend a lot of time in bank to get the transaction. We spent a lot of time to find out the contract which we signed with the school. Also spent a lot of time to find the invoice. Actually we think it’s useless to keep the invoice contract. Anyways we feel very sad to lose more than 15,000.

There are a lot of different version of the story regarding the boss of KSD. One story is that he has a mistress and the mistress want to divide part of the asset of boss, so she cheat the boss to transfer the stock to her. After she gets the full stock, she takes out all the cash. The school can’t normal run without the cashflow.

Another story is that the school is a bigger cheatment, the purpose that the boss set up the school is to collect money from the student. They encourage parents to pay more than one year tuition, when they get enough money from the parents, they transfer cash from this money to another company and announced bankrupt, so that she can get the money legally.
