Vocabulary

1.jaywalk= 横穿马路
ex: lots of old ladies love to jaywalk in SH, if they see no cars, they will walk across the street.

2. blow the whistle= 吹口哨
ex: the policeman will blow the whistle if you jaywalk.

3. whistle (verb)= 用嘴吹口哨
ex: it’s not polite to whistle on the street.
ex: my boyfriend likes to whistle when he wants to look for me in the supermarket.

4. ferry / cruise(noun)= 游轮🚢
ex: I went on a cruise trip with my boyfriend last year.
ex: we need to take the ferry to Chong Ming island.

5. twins= 双胞胎
triplets= 三胞胎
ex: I wish I could have twins.

6. C- section= 破腹产
ex: If the head is on top, then you need a C-section, it will take you longer to recover.

I made a new friend when I was interview, she work in a ferry for 2 years, she plans to go working holiday in New Zealand when the interview was done, because she didn’t get in like me. I think she was a really interesting people. If I go to New Zealand, I can’t work at the farm and factory, but she don’t mind. She think this was interesting, even working with a low salary. If I was student, I’m ok with that. Now I’m working 5 years, I can’t accept that. She is 30, she didn’t care about getting married, have a baby.

I made a new friend when I went to the interview, she worked on a ferry for 2 years, she plans to go on a working holiday in New Zealand when the interview finishes, because she didn’t get the job, just like me. I think she is a really interesting person. If I go to New Zealand, I can’t work at the farm or the factory, but she doesn’t mind. She thinks this is interesting, even working with a low salary.
