Grammar

I haven’t a lot of time–>  I don’t have a lot of time

haven’t + (past past tense)
ex: I haven’t + finished my dinner
ex: I haven’t+  had time to get a haircut.
ex: I haven’t + seen you for a looonnnnggg time.

Vocabulary

1.roommate= 室友
ex: It’s my roommate‘s dog, it’s not mine.
ex: I have 2 roommates who are a couple.

2. classmate= 同学
ex: Ally was my classmate, we have been friends for 15 years.

3. colleague／ co-worker= 同事
ex: I get along with my colleagues.
ex: I don’t like my colleagues because they don’t talk.

4. rent (verb)= 租
rent (noun)= 房租
ex: rent a car/ rent an apartment/ rent wifi/ rent GPS
ex: I want to rent a house in Shanghai because I want to move out.
ex: I need to pay rent every month.

5. refund (verb) = 退钱
ex: if you don’t like the clothes, you can refund them within 7 days.
ex: I refunded my phone because I don’t like it.

6. improve (verb)= 进步
ex: I want to improve my English because I want a better job.
ex: If I speak more English with my friends, I will improve faster.

7. get along= 相处
ex: I get along well with Luke and Alyssa.
ex: I don’t get along with my father because he’s annoying 烦人的。

8. temper (noun)= 脾气
ex: good temper/ bad temper
ex: My boyfriend has a good temper, he never gets mad at me.
ex: My husband has a bad temper, so I want a divorce.

They got married on October. Before they were married, I want to move, because they prepare to have a baby. My classmate is a boy, so we can’t nearly. We recognize more than 10 years. My friend bought a house in Shanghai, she wants me to live in there. I prepared to move there this month. I hate to move. I want to live alone always. I’m afraid the safety so I need a roommate.
