most people think of sharks as the ones they see in the movies. These movie stars are usually the great white sharks. However the great whites  are just one of about 350 kinds of  sharks/ There are some sharks that have never been seen alive. They live deep in the ocean. They are like the sharks that lived 300 million years ago. One example is the goblin shark. It lives hundreds of feet under the sea. Scientists do not believe that it could live if it came to the ocean surface. People in Japan have built a small submarine to learn more about goblin sharks.
