Original

It’s about a financial case. The shooters intimidate/ the boss in the QQ and then the “fake” boss asker the financial accountant to give him 17,000 RMB and accountant do that. After the accountant gave the money to the fake boss, the accountant think it is very curious why the boss ask him to do that in the QQ so she called real boss and then he know she was fooled by the traitors. Then he called the police. Then after 3 months the police catched the criminal in very poor village in Guanxi Province. They just used a smartphone or computer to teach all over the country. The police just catch him and send them to the court. It’s not a very severe case. Maybe they will punish them for money.

Correction

My most recent article was about a financial case. The criminals [perpetrators] imitated a boss on QQ. The “fake” boss asked the financial accountant to give him 17,000 RMB — and the accountant did it. After the accountant turned over the money to the fake boss, the accountant thought something was suspicious and asked her “real” boss why he asked for this on QQ. So she called the real boss and then she knew she was fooled by these criminals. She then called the police. Then after 3 months, the police caught the criminal in a very poor village in Guanxi Province. They just [simply] used a smartphone or computer to steal all over the country. The police caugh them and sent them to court. It’s not a very severe case. Maybe they will fine them.

Pronunciation

Thur vs. The vs. Da

Vocabulary

fine – a fee paid by a criminal to the government for a crime. It could be a “petty” crime (small crime) like a parking violation or a serious crime like corporate theft.

e.g. The criminals were asked to pay a fine rather than go to jail for many years.

suspicious – when I think someone’s behavior is a bit strange — perhaps they are “up to something” (trying to plan something with bad intentions).

e.g. This was strange behavior by the boss, so the accountant knew there was something suspicious going on.
