1.roommate= someone who lives with you
ex: my roommate said I don’t have any talents.

2. introverted = shy
ex: the Chinese students are more introverted, they don’t like to raise their hands in class.

3. extroverted= outgoing
ex: The Brazilians are more extroverted compared to Chinese.

Grammar

the richer you are, the happier you are.

Everyday when I go back home, I finish my dinner at around half past 7, I use some time to play with my kids, time pass quickly. Then we go to bed to sleep. As usual, I will get out of the quilt to do my own things. But these days the weather is too cold, I don’t want to get out of the quilt, I just lay in the bed, I don’t want to get out of the bed, I’m too lazy to study.

Do you think the weather could impact one’s personality?

I think the weather will impact some parts of personality. We cannot say people in Canada have the same personality, it’s impossible. It will have some influence on personality. For example, when a place is always sunny, people will go outside to enjoy themselves/ attend/ take part in social events. The more they experience, the more open they will be. When it always rains, you cannot go outside for events,you could only stay at home with family, you will be more introverted. I think the weather can affect people’s personality but it’s only one of the factors.

in what ways do income influence behavior?

I think income decides a lot of people’s behavior in their daily life. You earn more, you will choose some high-end products to buy. Of course these types of things have good quality and pay more attention to details. Day by day, you will get used to using high quality products. Generally the prices of these things are not cheap. They are usually sold in the high-class shopping malls or supermarkets. If one day a friend invited you to low-class shops to buy things, maybe you will hesitate to buy. You will think they are not as good as you always buy. You earn less, you always buy things to satisfy your basic needs first. We cannot say cheap things are not as good as expensive things, but sometimes price decides quality.

High income people always like to enjoy themselves by travelling, seeing operas etc. Experience more and get high sight. They are prefer to spending more time on satisfying themselves not only surviving.

Anyway we cannot easily say what’s the difference between people with different income. Just do the right things.

If one day a friend invites you to a traditional/local shopping mall to buy things, maybe you will hesitate on the quality of the items. You will think they are not as good as the ones you’ve always bought. when you earn less, you always buy things to satisfy your basic needs first. We cannot say cheap things are not as good as expensive things, but sometimes price reflects the quality.
