practice (verb)= 练习
ex: I need to practice my English with Lily
ex: I need to practice piano everyday for 1 hour.
ex: I need to practice basketball with my brother.

Vocabulary

1. primary school= elementary school = 小学
middle school= secondary school =high school=中学
university/ college= 大学／大专

2. grade (noun)= 成绩
ex: did you get good grades in school?
ex: I got really good grades in elementary school and secondary school.

3. imagine= 想象
ex: It’s harder than I imagined. 
ex: Your apartment is bigger than I imagined. 

4. allowance= 零花钱
ex: I’ve never had any allowances from my parents.

5. gain weight= 增胖
ex: we never gained any weight in KFC because we peeled off the chicken skin.

6.connection= 关系
ex: If you have connections in Shanghai, it’s easier to do business.

7. comfort zone= 安全地带
ex: I like to be in my comfort zone, so I don’t like to change my jobs.

8. rarely= 很少
ex: I rarely see some of you because I have lots of fixed students in my schedule.
ex: I rarely practice my English pronunciation.

9. work out= 健身
ex: I work out every morning around 9am.

10. elevator= 电梯
ex: I saw you in the elevator but I was scared to talk to you.
