disbanded: to end an organisation or group 解散

eg. Our project group was disbanded.

freelance(adj): doing particular pieces of work for different organisations, rather than working all the time for a single organisation 从事自由职业

eg. Most of the journalists I know are/work freelance

freelance(n): a person 自由职业者

skilled at having the abilities needed to do an activity or job well 熟练的；有技术的

eg. My mother is very skilled at/in dressmaking.

plateau: to reach a particular level and then stay the same 稳定；停滞
