Comparing Structures: 

Singular 单 数= Just One 只有一个. Plural 复数 = Many 许多

Kyle is a man. Kyle and Jesse is a man? —–> are men.

Yara is a woman. Yara and Judy are women (same sound. same pinyin).

to have vs do not have 

• Is there a costume design program at your university? —> Yes, there is.
• Is there a snowboarding program  at your university? —>  No, there isn’t.
• I have been to Thailand – qu guo Taiguo

Did vs didn’t

• Have you been to the United Kingdom ? —–> No, I haven’t been to the United Kingdom.
• Did you have a Chinese friend before you came to China? —-> No, I didn’t have any close Chinese friends before I come to China.
• Did you or did you not ==> Didn’t? ====> to confirm information 确认信息
• Yara, didn’t you travel to Thailand with your friend one time? Yes, I did.
• Did you study abroad outside of China?
