We maintained our family’s connection to Korean culture and language, but my parents and I are Chinese born citizens. I feel Americans speak English from the belly but Asians speak English from the neck.

2. When my son grows up I want to teach him, in Shanghai there is very competition. When he grow up older, I will take him to go long distance countries. Yeah, Europe. I haven’t been to Europe. I have been to Russia and Korea. Korea I have been to four or five time. Her and I  use Korean to communicate / together.

When my son grows up, I want to be able to teach him English. Since there is so much economic competition in Shanghai, my husband and I want to be able to give our son the best advantages. When my son is older, we will travel further abroad.  For example, we REALLY want to go to Europe. I’ve already been to Russia and Korea. I have been back to Korea four or five times already. My friend is Korean, her and I communicate in our mother tongue/language.

3. I want to travel abroad . Where they use English. Which countries do you want to go to? These years I travel with my baby from nearby China, like Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, nearby China, Bali. Because my son is too young, he may have a long trip he may tired. So I choose these countries for my son.

And the third reason is that I would like to travel abroad and use English. For the next few years until my son is older

want to compare the Shanghainese and the Koreans.  In Korea, we All families get together and meet many relatives once a year, if I see my aunt, my uncle, I will stand up and bow with manner, I will be very polite to them. In Shanghai, this year was my first time to get together with my Shanghainese relatives for the festivals. For the young people, when they meet uncles or aunts, they don’t even look at them or they just sit down and say hi/ greet. Koreans must wait forelders to eat firstthen young people can eat. But in Shanghai, there is no such no this culture, people can eat at anytimethere is no specific order.
