Vocabulary

higher salary –更高的薪水

ex. The thief didn’t have a high salary, but he still wants something so he is stealing.

feel pride / feel nervous

The man feels proud that he helped to catch a thief. The thief feels nervous because he is going to jail 监狱. 

The police man also feels happy because he caught the thief. That is his job. He is doing his job well. He can get a higher salary now.
