Recently I am watching a TV show named modern family. I am not sure this kind of family is normal in US or not. I want to say they are living a different world even shanghai is open society, lots of foreigners move to shanghai and live here.
A different perspective on kidsā€™ education give me a deep impression. A 15 years old girl take her boyfriend home, parents permit them to stay in a bedroom and watch DVD, although they worry about something which they donā€™t want to see could happen, but they still respect their daughterā€™s privacy.
Another plot is talk about responsibility, when younger brother shoots his sister with his bb gun. Mother said to father, if he shoots someone, you shoot him. The discipline is if you made something wrong you should makeup or get punishment so that the kids will scare to make it again.
I am a mom pursuit independent and respective, so my daughter always says: mom is my best friend. If my daughter takes her boyfriend home when she is 15 years old, how can I handle it. I understand this kind of feeling is beautiful, so I will be the wind in her back not the spit in her face, but at first, family members should sit together to set a bottom line, what kind of things can do but others are not permitted.
