Here is some basic texture words you should know.

Vocabulary

ratio – to show a percentage of something in comparison to another 1:5 (1 in five is bad)

Acceptable ratio – how many of bad products is acceptable in the sample

rework = modify, alter, amend, rectify, adjust

scrap (verb) = to throw away something because its not good

superficial – something wrong on the outside, doesn’t affect how it works.

Texture – the feel of something on the outside (smooth, flat, rough)

This week I’m on holiday. Last week, I find toy shapes not good. The factory can reshape them and then they will be okay. The ratio of bad toys was 1:5 or 20%. If the toy has open seam its not allowed, because if it has this defect, the factory must rework all the goods. Most of the the time the product can be fixed, if it can’t be fixed it must be remade.
