Dear Sarah,

I am writing this email to respectfully request a transfer my job responsibilities from product team to PG china delivery team. As I talked to you previously, I have been with Korn Ferry for 6 years, and have worked in several different capacities. Those skills I have gained in this position over the years, and my intimate knowledge of the talent products and solutions in Korn Ferry, I believe that will be a unique asset in this new position. Also, the challenges and experiences I obtained from this new job will get myself stretched and developed in the area of talent and leadership development, which is a good chance for my career development.

I have learned a lot from the people I have had the pleasure of working with, and look forward to growing in my professional career further in Korn Ferry.

Refer to our discussion, here is my main current responsibilities for your review.

– Manage the projects that including Korn Ferry online assessment in, all product system administration work for internal and external client, which is including assessment setup, report, tire 1 support and other general management, and the system training to client for their self-service in APAC.
– To work with global product teams to keep updated with changes of them as well as client’s feedback from the local markets which leads to the products optimization.
– Bridge the different practices from different business by managing the product integration process if need, constant communications and proactively offering support and enablement in APAP region.

Hi Sarah,

I am Kate, the assistant president in PG China. I am very glad that Catherine can transfer to our product delivery team for more client facing delivery work in the future. In the meantime, we don’t want to affect the all product support system because of her job transfer. We’ve decided to arrange a person, Xiaolong Li, from PG China team to replace Catherine’s current responsibilities for the projects in China. So we need your help to talk with global to find the other resource to cover the her support work for other regions.

Xiaolong Li is still on her maternity leave, she will come back to work from this July as the plan. Therefore, Catherine needs to continue to do her current work for the projects from China. Considering her workload and back up issues, we are arranging another person, Kelly Zou, to be involved temporally for the later system training with Catherine together, like KF360 system administration. We will transfer all of such work to Xiaolong Li once she comes back.

We hope this transfer could be effective from our new fiscal year. Please let me know if you have any questions.
