Pre – before something
eg. Pregame (before a game), Predrinks (drinks before a party), Prepare (to get ready for something), Preview (to look at something before)

Post – After something
eg. Postgraduate (after you graduate 硕士）

Forecast – The future weather

Awful – really bad

Waiter, waitress, server – someone that brings you food, drinks, etc
eg. The server brought me my food.

Congee/porridge – rice soup

牛排 – Steak

Ribs – The bones in the chest (popular food at restaurants pork/beef)
