Vocabulary

syntax – the structure of sentences in a language

Cucumber – 黄瓜 Green long vegetable

Dressing – Something you put on top of food.

Nutrients – things your body need to be healthy

Calcium – 

Protein – nutrient from eggs, nuts, meat

Icing (frosting) – sweet liquid we put on cake, made from (icing) sugar and milk


Grammar

I think Chinese is hard to write but not to see read – I think written Chinese is difficult but reading is more simple. 

My masters is studied in Shanghai – Before working, I was studying in Shanghai/I came to Shanghai to study my masters 

Gooder – better

Sometimes I want to ask North people to teach me putonghua. – People from Northern China/Northerners 

Strong tone problem – Big problem with tones/Tonal problems
