Explain what happens after you submit the proposal. 


Vocabulary

Punitive – the action of inflicting a punishment (fines, etc)

Puny – Small and weak

Craft – skillfully make something

Pitch – throwing the ball to the batter in baseball, and a sales proposal

Ditch – the low part on the side of the road, to throw away/forget about something

Neglect – to ignore something/don’t pay attention

Prospect – to search for something, someone that could become something in the future (a customer, or a famous athlete)

Collaborates/ive – to work with/work as a team
eg. My company collaborates with another company to tender a project as a collaborative unit.

Overwhelmed (inundate) – too much of something to handle it.
eg. I was overwhelmed at work by so many projects.

Role – your part in something, your expertise that you contribute to a large project/task
eg. My role in the project is to provide a final list of materials and quotation

Actually, my work is different with another sales person. We have to work with designer or consultant of a projects. We have to work out a proposal before we provide an offer or quotation.
