Learn 3 countries from each continent except (Oceania/Antarctica)


Vocabulary

Continents – 大洲

Oceania – 大洋洲

North America – 北美
South America – 南美

Antarctica – 南极洲

Bay – a body of water with land on 3 sides

Stream – small river
Pond – small lake/or small pool of water

Volcano – 火山

Hurricane/cyclone/typhoon = 台风

hail/sleet – pieces of ice falling from the sky (frozen rain)

Tornado – 龙卷风
Tsunami – 
a large wave of water

Thermometer – a tool that tells us the temperature 温度计
eg. The nurse checked my temperature by putting the thermometer under my tongue.

Vowels – a,e,i,o,u (sometimes y) (5 vowels)
Consonants – b, c, d, f…… (21 consonants)
Syllables – a sound made by putting letters together

Vow – to say you will do something (a strong promise)
eg. I vow to get justice for this crime.
