In the passage the function of universities, there is a sentence “the tragedy of the world is that those who are imaginative have but slight experience, and those who are experienced have feeble imagination.” Then, author describes that fools act on imagination without knowledge, and pedants act on knowledge without imagination.
In my perspective, I do believe that it’s quiet a proportion people in the world is fool or pedant. Why I think so maybe has two reason. First of all, it’s difficult to weld imagination and experience for many people. Because some people may has good experience while other people has fantastic imagination, if you want these two qualities acts on one man in the same time, generally it is not so easy. The partial of qualities makes many people just see one side of a thing, so that make many people like fool or pedants. Secondly, unequal education in some poor district or love blindly from some parents may make many children lose a comprehensive vision of the world. Take an example, compare with the children who live first-tier cities, those who are grown up in rural countries may lack of education for all-round development. On the one hand ,their family haven’t money to let them learn more course, and on the other hand,In order to change their destiny, they must indulge themselves in study and excessive focus on the details for get a great grade. Finally, some children live in poor district may probably become a pedant. In the world, there is always kinds of reasons that can’s supply every people the same environment and background to grown up. For this reason, some people live in a probable family may lack kinds of quailities.
