Write a sentence for react(ed) & reaction, and choose a few idioms you think are useful.
Vocabulary
Soda/soft drink/pop
Phrase/Saying – a short sentence (doesn’t use grammar) that has special meaning
Quality of Quantity – a little of a good thing is better then a lot of a bad thing.
Idiom – a phrase that has special meaning only known by native speakers/locals
A piece of cake = something is easy
Two birds one stone = 2 problems fix by doing 1 thing
I’m going to hit the sack = going to bed
Sack –
Raspberry [Ras-berry]
Profession = Occupation
eg. My profession is regional air freight manager.
Plumber [Plum-er] – someone who fixes toilet and sink
Electrician – someone that fixes something with electricity
Handyman – someone that can fix many things
Handy – very convenient
eg. Lets go to the restaurant near my house, its very handy/convenient.
Razor [ray-zer] 剃刀– something you use to shave/remove hair
eg. His beard is so big, does he not know what a razor is?
Mustache – hair above the mouth/under nose
Reaction – action because of an action
eg. He has a bad reaction to his medicine.
React(ed) – do something because of something
eg. Because it started raining, I had to react quickly to grab my umbrella. (must have the first thing or the second thing doesn’t happen)
Act = do something
React = do something because something already happened
Grammar
Today my boss give me had a reaction about to something from overseas.
