Vocabulary
Rule of thumb – a rule that people discover or teach themselves that can help them in life
School supplies –
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) – the inability to ignore something that bothers you.
Obsessive/obsessed -Can’t stop thinking or doing something (kind of unhealthy)
Lingo – an unknown or foreign language/phrase/expression etc…
eg. He was speaking some kind of weird lingo and I didn’t understand.
Studious – a very good student and hard worker in studying something
Justify – how you believe something is okay to do (believe its okay/or why you did something)
Zest – great enthusiasm and energy.
Eliciting – getting information from a person by any means (threaten, bribe, ask)
Feeble – not strong (weak: lack of muscle, mind power or due to illness)
Pedant – a person who is excessively concerned with minor details and rules or with displaying academic learning.
Weld [Wa-el-d] – use extreme heat to connect things together
School supplies – pens, paper, books, eraser, calculator, ruler
Household supplies – common things you use daily at your house
