Vocabulary

Heavy – not only meaning in weight but something that can be heavy on your mind

Burden – something you carry that is heavy in weight or on your mind
eg. Caring all this stuff on my back is such a burden on my muscles.

Bear a burden – to hold such a heavy weight that has a negative effect on your muscles or mind
eg. The information you just shared will help you feel better because we can share the work of bearing this burden.

Fathom – to be able to put together an idea in your head (understand is thoroughly)
eg. I can’t fathom the idea of never having friends at my workplace.
eg. I can’t fathom sitting beside a senior manager in a car during work stuff.

Niche – an uncommon speciality that sets you aside form others
eg. Speaking Korean gives you access to a niche market because its not a common 2nd language.

Cadets – a youth military organization for people 12-18 can include army, air force, or navy

Shuffle – to move without lifting your feet off the ground
eg. On the side of the mountain, we had to shuffle sideways until we got back on the wall.

Fell off the face of the earth – no one had heard from him in  a long time
