<Homework: Write about the education and associated societal issues in Korea>
Most Koreans would think that we need to reform our education system and put off excessive competition for college admission. I also definitely agree on it. A lot of young Korean are still choosing their job blindly accepting the choice imposed by their parents rather than considering their own interests. Since primary school, we take on passive attitute in education and listen to elders like teachers and parents who tell us that this is the way to be a good student. It even continues to the moment when you choose a college. Everyone is eager to enter a prestigious collegue such as Seoul National University, Korea University, and Yonsei University even though those college won’t 100% garauntee to be successful in the workforce and enter the middle class. From my perspective, college and degree doesn’t really matter, it’s more about interests what you have. I hope Korean goverment and the Ministry of education could create better education enviroment to encourage students to think more about their interests and dreams.
