Vocabulary

Concepts – very difficult ideas with a lot of information
eg. I like the business concepts at this company.

Maternity leave – taking time off work for having a child

Negotiate – to discuss the price of something
eg. After negotiating the price, I paid half of the starting price.

Resume/CV – a piece of paper with all your important information.

Good cop bad cop – one person will be nice, polite, and helpful and the other is very strict or mean to test your personality
eg. A test to see what kind of manager is good for you

Caught off guard – something you didn’t expect

Pros and Cons -good things and bad things (usually a list)

• Always give an example that helps your choice
• Strength: My communication skills are definitely my greatest asset. Because …… For example …..
• Weakness: I am nervous to talk with not native English speakers (in English) on the phone in case its difficult to understand them.

Weakness = Lack of experience in this specific role, but very motivated
