Vocabulary

Even – the same size, level, flatness of something (both sides the same)  ; to show surprise about something you expect them to have done
eg. A table or picture should be even (flat and not higher on one side) so that it looks normal
eg. You don’t like chicken feet, have you even (to show that you would be surprised if they had done something) tried them?

odd numbers – (1,3,5,7,9,11,….)
Even numbers – (2,4,6,8,10……)

Smooth – something that is very flat, very good or easy
eg. The bike seats are very smooth and comfortable
eg. The top of the table is smooth
eg. Chocolate milk is so smooth when I drink it
eg. Last night I slept very smoothly
eg. The play went very smoothly – The play was very smooth


Rough – 
the opposite of smooth, not easy or not good
eg. The outside of a basketball is a little bit rough so you can hold/grip it easily
eg. Drinking Baijiu is really rough every time.
eg. Last night I was sick/drank to much baijiu and had a rough night/time
eg. Tonight will be rough, because I must stay up late to do a lot of homework
eg. Learning English is a rough experience/process

Process – 过程

Grip/Grasp – being able to hold something well so that it doesn’t fall
eg. You should grasp your phone tightly so it doesn’t fall
