Morning routine

Discipline- a way to control yourself

e.g. The Buddhist monk had tremendous discipline, he didn’t eat anything for a whole week.

Willpower- the power to control yourself and your actions

e.g. she has a lot of willpower; she has been exercising everyday for the past/last 10 years.

Core strength- how much power you have in your core

e.g my coach has really good core strength, he can do a 10 minute plank.

Abs/ Abdominal Muscles/ Abdomen- The muscles you have on top of your stomach

e.g. her boyfriend wants to have abs OR (he wants to have a six pack, eight pack, ten pack)

Layer of fat (Body fat percentage %) – how much fat your have in your body

e.g. you can’t see my abs because there’s a layer of fat over them

Hormones (Testosterone for men/ Estrogen for women) things in your body that change you

e.g. Jin Xing used hormones to become a woman.

Metabolism- your body’s energy cycle, how fast it burns calories

e.g. Skinny people have a quick metabolism.

Diabetes-  a disease that requires insulin to control blood sugar levels

e.g. old people and fat people can have diabetes if they eat too many sweets.

Portions/Servings-the amount of something you eat

e.g. he was so fat, he ate 4 portions of French fries.
