Speaking exercise

Yesterday I did my homework for the semester ending. Yesterday is the last day. I handed up the whole homework. -> Yesterday, I handed in/turned in my homework for the [end of the semester]/[semester’s end].

I will go back home. It’s about 14 of July. -> I will go home around the 14th of July. (when saying days of months, use the ordinal numbers like first, second, third, etc.)

Yes, but I will other English class for the IELTS. -> Yes, but I will have other English classes for the IELTS. Yes, but I will have another English class for the IELTS.

I not sure. -> I‘m not sure.

Maybe I will take exam in my hometown because everyone said the small city it is better than the big city for the exam. -> Maybe I will take the exam in my hometown

Because we have speaking and writing exam and small cities students are the level is lower than the big cities students. -> Small cities’ students’ levels are lower than the bigger cities’ students. Small cities’ students’ level is lower…

When I have speaking exam most student if their level is not good the examiner will take care the most students’ level. -> When I have speaking exam, if the most students’ level is not good the examiner will take care the most students’ level. -> When I have/take the speaking exam, if most students’ English level is not good, the examiner will take care of the students, and give them a better grade.

If I better than a not good group, I will have a better grade. -> If my level is better than other students, I will get a better grade.

I think is the summer holiday ending.  I will take exam in my hometown the first time. -> I will take the exam in my hometown for the first time when the summer holiday [is ending]/[ends].

It’s about 3 hours for the listening and writing and reading, and speaking is other time. Maybe is not one day. -> It’s about 3 hours for the listening, writing, and reading, but speaking is at another time. Maybe they’re not on the same day.

Grammar

Other – after “other”, always use a plural noun. ex: other days, at other times, other people

“On a day” – when talking about a day or a specific day (tuesday, wednesday, etc), use the preposition “on”, never “in”
