I watched a Chinese TV series called Ode to Joy last night. It’s about 5 girls from different cities they got different education, the 5 girls live in the same floor of…they are neighbors. They work in different companies. All of them work hard to try to live in Shanghai.
One of them has problem the others will try to help her and sometimes they will conflict but finally they make peace. I think the series it is a little similar with friends. Tells around their work, happiness, love, and relatives (r…).
I like all of them because they are the simple of us who came to Shanghai at first. They work very hard to try to fight for themselves to can live in Shanghai because Shanghai they have same goal. This is their goal.

The 5 of them live on the same floor of an apartment building./They are neighbors. They work in different companies. All of them work hard to make a living in/to survive in Shanghai.
When one of them has a problem the others will try to help her but sometimes they will argue/fight/disagree with each other but finally they make peace. I think the series is a little similar to Friends. It tells about their work, happiness, love, and relationships.
I like all of them because they symbolize those who came to Shanghai to live and work / to have a better life. They work very hard to fight for themselves so they can be happier and more successful.  This is their goal.
