Writing exercise

When I was a young girl, I like to explored new place near by my home. Actually, I was lived in the dormitory of my father’s factory.
The main business were production of auto parts. So my living condition was not good. Around our factory were many fishponds. The fishponds water was not clean. So there were many weeds around fishponds, also there were many croplands near by fishponds.
I wanted to go to the botanical garden near by fishponds, I need through the fishponds and the croplands. When I did this , I felt like I’m in a adventure.
Once, I think that’s a spring day, I was through my ways as usual. When I stepped on a cropland, I felt one of my feet stick in the mud. But when I saw it clearly , I was shouted . That was shit , full of shit. I almost cried home.

If the story is in the past, then every verb should be in the past
