Grammar

SVO: – S and O are both nouns
noun- person, place, thing

“a group of” – counting, how much?
ie. A group of students are…
ie. A team/couple of basketball players are coming to me/walking towards me.

have been: 存在过 = was in
ie. I have gone to HK …
ie. I have been to/in HK …

ing vs ed
ie. Ally is boring. (actively being boring myself… )
ie. Ally is bored.( emotion you feel)
ie. I am confused by/with this grammar. The grammar is confusing.

I like playing basketball.
I like to play basketball. 

I haven’t choose the school, but I focus on the country.
I haven’t chosen the school, but I’m focused/I’m focusing on selecting/choosing the country I want to study at. 

I want to tell you something important.

I cannot make progress. 
Progress cannot be made.

I know and I can use are different things
“I know” and “I can use” are different things.
Knowing and speaking/using are different things.
