Grammar

SVO- Subject Verb Object
– identify the verb, which is the most important component
– the person/thing doing the verb is the subject
– does the subject match the verb?

enter = come in to
ie. enter China/ come in to China

prefer: the one you want when you have options
ie. I prefer to go to SH instead of/than HK./I prefer to go to SH when I have a long vacation.
ie. I decided to buy some fruits.

going on: what’s happening right now
ie.What’s going on in SH?
ie. What’s going on in your life recently? = How are you?

turn out: how things become in the future
ie. The Italian government is looking to see how things turned out in China.
ie. The young nerdy boy with glasses turned out to be a buff gym-fanatic.
