This line chart shows the variety percentages of young people of UK who choose a vegetarian diet from 1960 to 2020.

The percentage of vegetarian diet followers rose significantly between 1960 to 1980. In 1960 less people followed vegetarian diet. After that, there was a highest peak reached to 15% in 1980. Over the 10 years falling, the survey appeared fluctuation from 1990 to 2000. In this 10 years period, the higher percentage increased to nearly 8%, dipped to the lower percentage sligtly above 4%. Since 2000 vegetarian diet people has been slightly increase and becoming level off.

Over all, nowadays adolescents in the UK are going to follow vegetarian diet. Over 50 years the generation accepted nature nutrition.
