Vocabulary

P.E. (Physical Education) – class in school for sports and exercise

Comics – illustrated books

eg: I love to read Japanese comics in my free time

Duzi – stomach – place in your body where food is digested

eg: My stomach felt very full after eating the baozi.

Episodes – tv shows in a tv series.

eg: This season, there are 10 episodes.

Sword – a sharp, pointed weapon.

eg: Naruto uses a sword to fight his enemies

Armor – hard, protective clothing

eg: The knight had to wear armor to protect himself.

Lightning –  electricity coming from the sky during a storm.

eg: The lightning flashed and scared the small boy.

Cast – a hard wrapping put around an injured part of the body.

eg: After breaking my leg, I had to wear a cast for 3 months.

Coach – The leader of a sports team.

eg: The coach yelled at the team players after they lost the game.

Chorus – A singing group

eg: In school, I am a member of the school chorus.
