Vocabulary

Make fun (v): 1- to make a joke about someone or something in a way that is not kind.
E.g.: The other children were always making fun of him because he was fat and wore glasses.

Attention span (n): 1- the length of time that someone can keep their thoughts and interest fixed on something:
E.g.: Young children have quite short attention spans.

Divide (v): 1- to (cause to) separate into parts or groups.
E.g.: At the end of the lecture, I’d like all the students to divide into small discussion groups.

Greet (v): 1- to welcome someone with particular words or a particular action, or to react to something in the stated way.
E.g.: He greeted me at the door.

Regional (adj): 1- relating to or characteristic of a region.
E.g.: We should report first to the regional office and then to the headquarters.
